SPEAKER: Rev. V.O. Uabor
TOPIC: The Crown Of Goodness
TEXT: Psalm 65:11, Psalm 34:8-11, Psalm 84:11,James 1:17

Psalms:65:11 “Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness”

A Crown can be defined as a circular ornamental headdress worn by a monarch as a symbol of authority, usually made of or decorated with precious metals and jewels
A crown traditionally represents power, legitimacy, victory, triumph, honour, and glory

Declarations
Crown of goodness, you are my portion!
I receive the crown of goodness!
I wear the crown of goodness!
With you, I ride through the year!
With you, I smile through the year!
With you, I will rejoice throughout the year!

The Timing Of This Crown
The timing of the crown is usually the last item on the agenda.
The timing of the crown is the high point of the ceremony.
Even though it is the last item of the ceremony, it is indeed, the very first step into the power and the glory that will follow.

The Placing of The Crown
The placing of the crown signifies the end of an old status and the beginning of a new one.
The last event for the moment but the first event into a new era.
It also signifies the dawn of a new day.
The placing of the crown announces the arrival of a new glory in which you will swim the rest of your days.
The crowning changes the name of the man who is crowned.

Prophetic Declaration/Confession
God has declared my head fit for a crown
God has put a crown on my head
Father! Thou crownest my year with thy goodness, so that in the New Year,
I will operate, in that goodness!
I will celebrate, in that goodness!
I will conquer my world in that goodness, my status has changed, and I will be operating on the goodness status in the new season!
Father! Nothing but thy goodness shall be my experience this month and after this month, in every side, in my job, family, academics, business and spiritual life.
Father! I sign for the goodness that adds value.

Goodness implies everything good, everything of increasing value (added value)
There are no stones or errors in the bouquet of God’s goodness. The goodness of God is perfect and worthy of praise.

James: 1:17 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning”
The goodness of God is good and perfect.
Psalm 84:11 “For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly”
Psalm 34:8-11 “O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him. O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing. Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.”
A want is something you desire that you cannot get. The thing is good for you but you cannot get. God is saying that there shall be no want to them that fear Him. For God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in Glory.
Psalms: 65:11:“Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.”
Not only will God give you the crown of goodness, He shall also bless you with the oil of fatness
